The Overview
This is a double-sided poster on infographic design. Various data based on the song 'Breathe' by Pink Floyd is extracted and visualised into a poster.
The poster design final outcome is inspired by the refracted rainbow colours from the album cover.
The album was produced back in the early 1970s, the psychadelic era. The cover design consists of a prism and its refracted light. Note was taken that one of the colours from the rainbow is missing, so instead of 7 colours, it was just 6.

The Concept
‘Breathe’ is a song about advices being given to the young about Life and what to expect in the society.
The implication is that Life is short, you should use the time wisely and make it worth living. Derived from the word ‘breathe’, the idea of ‘oxygen’ came about, and hence it inspired this piece where the graphic elements is mainly made up of tiny circles to represent the little particles. Each circle represents a second of the song. The poster is kept simple, minimalist and restricted to the main colours on the album cover to radiate some sense of relativity to the song.

The concept of the poster is to reflect the message of the song ‘Live fast, die young’. The ‘tiny particles’ are arranged and presented in an outward explosive manner to signify the birth of a child and its sprint towards working life and the society. The less dense part of the ‘tiny particles’ that breaks away from the ‘solar system circle’ represents the minority who thrive hard to break boundaries and make their lives worth living. The 3D glasses allows the user to experience the data visualisation in a psychadelic manner and to reveal the hidden message of the song.
