EcoCloud a project of Sustainable Silicon Valley
Deliverable: Recreate the EcoCloud logo and create a new identity: logo, business card and bookmark.
1. Use original colors for logo
2. Fresh new look for business card, must add color
3. Design a bookmark in the shape of a leaf: colorful/attractive, describes the EcoCloud mission, and direct viewers to website
The EcoCloud logo consists of a two iconic elements:
• The "cloud" surrounds the logo symbolizing "collaboration and innovation"
• The "leaf" connects to the typography adding flow and movement symbolizing "ecology"
Both elements work together with the bold type and round elements giving an airy feeling to the design.
Bookmark Concept
The bookmark utilizes both sides to show duality. The green side describes the Sustainable Silicon Valley's goal and mission. The vibrant green leaf and water drops give a 3-dimensional texture that reflect nature and the ecosystem. The opposing blue side conveys the EcoCloud mission of "collaboration and innovation". The eco-friendly icons, circular shapes and flowing type create a dynamic pattern and circular movement which represent a continuous flow of an ecosystem working together toward one goal.
