A new team since July 2011, the client (and Club Manager of the First Team) needed a new logo to promote the club as a up and coming team. Being given no art direction or sketches, work started around a fresh approach (new team, fresh ideas).Since the club was called Rushcliffe Dynamo, sketches moved towards the keywords brought out by the word "Dynamo" and the initial ideas with the lightening bolt and helmet designs showed "Power" and "Strength", key features which with feedback from the client, fell into the overall design. Initial sketches were drawn out of the final idea, scanned into illustrator where work could begin on creating a fresh, clean logo. After several meeting with the client to check out the direction, the final design was produced. This design was then printed onto the clubs First Team Home Kit.
