The key message that we wish to convey at this exhibition is the value of exchange. Exchange is an action of give and take that allows us to obtain items we deem valuable. There was the story of a man obtaining a house through series of exchange that started off with a paperclip; and there are people on the street who receive a hug by giving a hug. Everyone has different values in life; the result of exchange can never fail to amaze you.
For the main visual, we have “exchanged” the words with elements from the product. While reading through the introduction, audiences also receive image of the product. The visual design can trigger interest in this exhibition and it is much more lively than just plain words. The visual display is connected by continuous image stitching, reading it in either direction can still give the audiences the full message we wish to convey.
