Had some people comment on the concept for this piece. I first started with a color palette that matched my moleskine sketchbook, and then I figured out what opposites I wanted to show. From there I just did a lot of research looking at other people's work for inspiration. Here's the work I looked at:
Also: Creative Dash supplied one of their project files; once I realized they were just animated masks on solid layers, it really made things less complicated for me. I just studied some videos of water, and animated some masks.
