What defines Singapore? Is it the food, singlish or just the special places we visited when we are young?

 

Icons of Singapore was commissioned by architect, Assistant Professor Peter Chen from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for a commemorative sculpture design competition in celebration of Singapore's 50th birthday. With icons ranging from food, favourite places in Singapore and even personalities like Ah Meng, this sculpture certainly strikes a chord with many Singaporeans.
