The idea for this image stemmed from elements of fantasy and the dramatic effects of cinema. I wanted to create a theatrical moment that captured the allure of mermaid lore but also one that promoted body positivity. I can say that i'm pretty happy with the outcome, this image evolved from an old sketch to a full fleged digital mermaid.
