Mike Bertino
Illustrator, Cartoonist, Artist
I try to flush as much life into the process as possible, to test boundaries, to explore the flaws, to live in my art, and to expand my understanding of the ideas in front of me.   Illustration, comics, design, painting, and drawing all allow me to do this in different and exciting ways.  With every challenge is the opportunity to learn and grow.

In 2005 I moved to LA from San Diego CA to earn my BFA in illustration from t Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.  Since graduating in 2007 I’ve been hard at work in a wide variety of art and design fields including editorial and book illustration, comics, advertising, television, storyboarding, animation, mural and installation design and execution, logo and packaging, apparel, and gallery work.
Since living in Los Angeles I’ve also become a family man, and like any other challenge, this has brought me a whole new world to explore and grow into.
