This project was developed for the John Stewardson Competition. The Competition is a 10 day design charette open to senior architecture students in Philadelphia. The prompt required the design of a transformative space. My Concept was to formalize the interesting dichotomy between old and new Berlin. The center of the two retail spaces exhibit the disconnection of the structure, which produces a viewing space. From this vantage point, the visitor can see many governmental buildings, and memorials.
