Brief: Redesign packaging for a To-Go food item to be more user friendly and sustainable. Problem: Burritos are messy and not really convenient to eat on-the-go. Solution: We designed our burrito packaging to fit easily into the consumer's hand or a car cup holder. It is made from unbleached recycled paperboard and lined with recycled aluminum susceptor to allow for re-heating. A deck in the bottom of the package lets the burrito juices drip to the bottom and absorb into a piece of gauze to stop the consumers burrito from getting soggy or hand from getting dirty. Each edge of the hexagonal box is perforated almost the entire length of the package to allow for height adjustment as the burrito is being eaten. Our flavor varieties, branding and locally sourced ingredients appeal to commuters new to the work force. Read Less
