When we heard Virgin Radio RJ Kris Fade and rapper
Two Tone were launching their new single on the
Kris Fade Show, we sent the boys a customised set of Nando's
PERi-PERi Sauces, delivered to the Virgin studios
on 8 March 2015. The stars tweeted a pic of their fiery treats,
reaching their combined Twitter following of 80,000
across the MENA region. Best of all, studio guest
Ed Sheeran sang about them.
Each set contained Lemon & Herb, Mild, Hot and Extra Hot Sauces, 
with a tweak on the Nando's® logo.
A card was included in the pack, alluding to their new music collaboration.
Two Tone tweeted his thanks for the surprise gift to his 50,000+ Twitter followers.
But the best was still to come. When British pop star Ed Sheeran popped in to the studio later that day, Kris Fade challenged him to make up a song on the spot. 
When our gift packs caught Ed's eye, he sang about Nando's®. And by some strange coincidence (ahem), the footage found its way onto YouTube. 
A massive return. On a very tiny investment.
