Three-Legged Wooden Stool
Toward the end of the term, we were assigned to craft a wooden stool; the attention to detail and focus on planning were challenging for me. I built the final piece out of pine wood, trying to focus on a simple design in a piece small enough to be practical as a footstool.
Ceramic Family
The final assignment was to create ceramic "families" of 5+ objects, all of which had to be unique, yet related in their design. I took inspiration from the shapes of seashells and modeled my objects after them; my original intention was to use them as soap dishes, but I later realized they functioned better as catch-alls!
