This is a theoretical logo design for the country of Botswana; a place with limited flora and fauna without defining landmarks. However, one very prominent feature is the strange and mysterious baobab tree which serves as the visual centerpiece of my graphic system.

This and the following image is showing the beginning process to the success of this logo.

Chosing the color orange to represent the savanna climate that is prevalent in Botswana.

Wanting to pair the typographic logo with a meaningful image, I began the same process as before. This time I was painting images of the baobab tree.

Sifting through the many renderings of the baobab tree, I selected the strongest of them. Taking into consideration that it needed to pair well with the style of the typographic logo.
