SOHO FACTORY. To live, to work, to be
editorial design

Soho Factory is a bold urban assumption based on an attempt to revive post-factory areas with the help of architectural interference with time gaining momentum and creating a coherent system of buildings responding to the needs of residents and people working within Soho. The project was to be a peculiar icon of comprehensive planning of architecture, services, common spaces, as well as a training ground for research on the contemporary expectations of residents of large cities, whose way of living and communing with space has changed dramatically in recent years. Breakfast fairs, food cooperatives, co-working - all this was to be found in Soho Factory. The publication talks about the context of this investment in Warsaw's Praga, in Kamionek.

As designers of this unique publication, we wanted to include the experience of the architects of Soho Factory in the form of publications. This is why the layout is very spacious, large white spaces between the text and pictures are characteristic if we talk about the way Soho plan is created, and respect for the common space. The grey, cardboard cover, and green interior suggest a bold combination of modern solutions with nature and urban greenery. At first glance, the scattered letters of the partitions suggest building space on an open, organic, heterogeneous structure. It was a very conscious design process on our side.
