This is a kinetic type song lyric video for Pentatonix’s “Daft Punk.” I worked with a palette of white, black, and neon colors to reflect the fun, upbeat feel of the song and also pay homage to the bright colors used in the official music video for it. To reflect the sharpness of the sound, each word appears on the screen in white or neon as it is being sung, then switches to gray when the next word is sung. I worked with a visual system of tight type stacking and text knocked out of colored bars to keep the song cohesive, but each song present in the medley had its own unique treatment.
