How do you make action-adventure-comedy DVD packaging match the over-the-top nature of Adult Swim's Eagleheart? Add explosions and more explosions.
First, the backstory. This quarter-hour series, a parody of butt-kicking crime dramas like Walker, Texas Ranger, hails from Conan O'Brien's Conaco Prods. Chris Elliott is U.S. Marshal Chris Monsanto, who blindly kicks, punches and shoots his way to what may or may not be a legitimate solution to his case, along with co-stars Brett Gelman and Maria Thayer as his sidekicks Brett and Susie.
This is the second project where we used mad Photoshop skills to enhance images for Adult Swim programming. I don't think there is a category called Photoshop comedy, but even if there's not, we are quickly becoming experts in it. See the poster description below to find out more.

The Eagleheart poster started as the back of the DVD packaging. But it was so cool, we felt it needed to be blown up to a poster.
The art started with three separate poses of the show's stars. We added over 20 stock and custom images, various lighting effects, and several filters to create the final poster.
