For a class project, I was instructed to create a 16-page book, along with a book case to hold it. The subject of the book was completely up to me, so I saw this as an opportunity to do something fun. The result was a book on Chuck Norris.
"The Book of Norris" is a collection of the ever-so-popular Norris "facts", as well as an actual biography, some interesting real facts, and a list of his most notable films. The book is filled with my original illustrations that both parody the mythology of Norris as well as exaggerate his appearences in films.
The book case was modeled after a military dossier, meant to play on my theme of the Norris "facts" being top-secret and confidential.
Needless to say, I had a great deal of fun when creating this book.. and I'm now being hunted down by Norris' beard because of it. ;-)
