MAKE Magazine - Redesign Concept
MAKE is the first magazine devoted to DIY technology projects. MAKE has a devoted audience of
tech-savvy, DIY enthusiasts who are shaping the future with their innovative projects and ideas.
THE NEW LOOK
Make magazine has always been text heavy and hence to have proper breathing space and contrast, the new design is kept white dominant.
The contents page earlier had been spread over multiple spreads, making it
difficult for a maker to find out all of content at once.
The newly designed pages follow the concept of Recto-Verso making it easy for the
maker to read the steps easily as opposed to the original layout.
The content page earlier lacked visual contuinity. The new design offers better
visual hierarchy over and above the readbility quotient.
