I was given the task to edit a promotional video for Madame Tussaud's back in October 2013.

I thought it would be a standard job but it turned out to be quite challenging.

The first obstacle was trying to shorten very large uninterupted takes of dialogue from only one camera angle. The energy and movement provided by the actress didn't help ease this task.

The second obstacle was incorporating mobile phone footage that was used to film the preparation of the first bird. The jump in video quality from a DSLR to a Samsung mobile phone camera was evidentally noticable. I decided to mask this by speeding up the footage and adding several effects to the intire video including a 8mm style colour grade and dusk marks on the film.

Looking at this work now I can see a lot that I would change but at the time the client was very happy with my work and that's the opinion that matters in freelance work.
