Aranmula Mirror, (commonly know as Aranmula Kannadi; kannadi meaning mirror in malyalam)
Its a geographically patented craft of Kerala, done at Aranmula. 
The Mirror is not made of glass but an alloy. This alloy after being casted is filed several times with different materials, naming file paper, teture fabric and at the end velvet to get its shine and finish. 
The outerr frame is alsohand casted with brass and other metals. 
And then filed with hand to get the glossy surface.
Several concept sketches were made but the above got seleted
(taking inspiration from Mughal collection of NIRAV MODI jewels) 
Above shown picture is the first mock up made of wax.
