For me, the process of cooking has always been something special. It is a way to escape from different thoughts and to just “switch” to something different. When various textures, flavors, and aromas are mixed together, everything stays in the background, and the most important thing remains – thats the food.
What can I tell you about baking? There is something magical in the fact that even just combining flour and liquid and a little effort to knead the dough, this sticky, viscous mass which will probably strive to creep into something shapeless, eventually will turn into a fluffy, aromatic and very tasty bread. “Cinderella” story, nothing else.
It’s incremental: the more components to the recipe, the more magical the transformation. In the oven, under the action of heat and vacuum, the dough rises, covers with a golden brown crust and gets full of crazy good flavor. It’s a magic!
