"Telefonkiosken tackar för sig” (The telephone booth retires) is a documentation of the last time for the telephone booths in Malmö, Sweden. 

The photo book portrays all of the 68 telephone booths in Malmö and shows how hidden, unused and especially abandoned the telephone 

booth has become. 

The assignment was to create a photo book. The telephone booths in Sweden will all be removed by the year 2015 due to the lack of use, and therefore I thought it to be an interesting object to photograph. My photo book collects all the telephone booths in a conscious unglamorous 

way, and are documenting a history. It is a collection of a past space and era. The serial format makes it possible to see every single telephone booth – which otherwise might not be considered more interesting than another. The layout is simple, documenting and has a kind of retro 

style – to push even more on how abandoned the phone booth is.
