COLLAPSE - Visual and Sound Installation

COLLAPSE

Sculpture & video mapping

Client Brief
We were commissioned by Fulgurances to develop a concept that highlights climate change and the disappearance / rehabilitation of nature.

Concept & Storytelling
Taking the form of a glacier, Collapse tells the story of the effects of global warming. The animated sculpture reflects the impact of humans on the ecosystem. We see the slow collapse of an iceberg. The installation is a reflection of how nature must be revived through diverse forms.

Technique
The visuals layer different photos from The Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina. Animations are projected on a 3,30 x 3m sculpture. The noisescape combines actual sounds of collapsing icebergs.
