Project 4 - Promotional Cards

This Project contains 3 promotional cards made for MK 370 course.  All events portrayed in these cards are not actual events, and should be noted as such.
This came out to be my personal favorite of the batch.  It is the second promotional card I created but the first to fully follow the project requirements.

Oktoberfest is something I've always wanted to take part in and I know that the Hofbrauhaus "chain" is a venue that gives people the closest experience to an authentic German Beer Hall without having to leave the states. therefore, I combined both concepts and made this flier.

I utilized an Iris Blur to make the front table the primary focus.  You'll also notice the Orange and Green colors for font as I felt they reflected the fall event well.  With the Hofbrauhaus logo in the top right corner, I found the font closest to the one used by the company to write "Hofbrauhaus Cleveland".  the actual Logo is a PNG from the web.

While the website address listed on the card is real, I cannot confirm that the facebook, Twitter, or google plus accounts exist.
This was the first flier I made without knowing the full details of the project.

Rhapsody Blue is a John Carroll a capella group, and this is a promotional card for a "concert" . The date and time are just hypothetical for the project.  I wanted to create a crisp style, which comes from the white to yellow to blue transitional block at the bottom.

There is no blur or gradient applied here.
This was the last of 3 promotional cards I created.  It's for a hypothetical fundraising event that is a Western Casion night.

Just when I thought I was running out of ideas for promotional fliers, I came up with a casino night, but somehow wanted to give it an older theme. I decided to take a Western approach and create a "Saloon Night".  To emphasize this theme, I applied bullet hole vector graphics to the existing title to give it a little more character.

As for why the particular organization to hold a fundraiser for? I've personally participated in fundraisers for this chairty and love what they stand for.  Proceeds go to help injured American Veterans around the country.

There is a blur utilized to highlight the cards on the table.  There's also a QR code png that I took from the internet.  This code has nothing to do with this project, event, or organization.
