Lotus Cooking System
The Lotus set is a dynamic and flexible mobile cooking system. It offers an elegant alternative to the conventional static hob. Each piece is completely mobile and can be placed anywhere on the work surface. Lotus components are powered using resonant inductive coils hidden beneath the counter top. Providing wireless power to the pieces eliminates cables and wires.
The Lotus cooking set was presented at the Miele ‘Kitchen of the Future’ competition in 2009. A panel of judges including sustainability expert Duncan Stewart awarded Lotus second prize overall.
