Paper Whispers is the first solo show of David Monteiro ( hellosmellytrees )
This exhibition explores the multiple relations between the artist and his first media of expression: the paper
The contact of the tools create different mus tones, if you bend it, crop it, cut it or scratch it, with the help of a pencil or a sharp pen to give him differents perspectives.
If these whispers are unique and only experience by the artist, they are so many evidences of this material.
From this dialogue between the artist and his canvas a dialect understandable and decodable by your senses is born.
