The Loop House Lamp serves as both a functional appliance and a unique piece of art for the home. The Loop is able to balance on its own, the light source hanging at the exact center. Its smooth and sleek design fits in seamlessly with modern sensibilities.

The prototype for the Loop was made using a CNC router to carve the lamp's two separate halves out of medium-density fibreboard. The lamp's cord was run through grooves carved in the center, weights were put into each side to ensure that the lamp would be able to balance on its own. The whole structure was then glued together and painted.

The idea for the hanging light source was decided on very early in the lamp's initial simple ideation.
