Originally, this project was supposed to be only a one page map, however eventually it evolved into a poster and a map. At first, it was asked by the sales representatives to build a “Map” for a trade show taking place on a boat. They wanted attendees to walk by the different rooms to check out new products. This idea later spun out a game where visitors would pick up cards at every booth in every room. Once they collected all the cards they would be entered into a contest. The poster was built once this idea came to be. The look, tone and feel of the map helped drive the visuals of the poster.
