I was asked to brand a new restaurant in the ski station of Luz Ardiden in the Haute region of the French Pyrenees. The owners were keen for purple to feature as blueberries grow wild in the area, to which I added a sky-blue and creamy off-white to mimic the high altitude sky and sun-kissed snow of the landscape. The repeated wavy lines of the menu background imitate the patterns left in the snow from slaloming skiers.
