The project included Way Finders, Information, Caution and EquipmentSignage developed for a mega power plant in India.
For obvious reasons (i.e. highest visibility, volatility andsafety concern) the Caution Signage is red in color. The rest of them includingWay Finders, Information, and Equipment Signage are in the most-preferred- universal-combinationof blue, white and yellow. This combination acts as a perfect contrast betweenthe foreground and background, which enhances the readability of message beingconveyed on the signage.
At dull and low light areas, I have opted for illuminatedsign boards so as to increase the visibility and readability of the signage. Also,graphics and vernacular language (Hindi) are used wherever required to furtheradd to the understandability quotient of the signage.
Material used: Colored Aluminum Composite Sheet (fused onblock board)/ Vinyl (radium)/ Powder Coated Square Iron Pipes.
