Printmaking To create patterns based on the book “Alice in Wonderland” We created patterns based on Lewis Carroll's book “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” and printed them using manual print making techniques. This was done for the module Production Processes for Graphic Design of our 1st Year Our concept focused on portraying the ridiculousness of the book. We chose to depict this by using an iconic scene from the book, where the Queen of Hearts makes her soldiers paint white roses red. The absurdity of this scene represents the absurdity of the entire book. We carried out variations of this scene through all designs for the deliverables. Read Less
