I painted this based off a photo call StormWalking. But, I like to call it "That's No Moon, It's a Breakdance."
This image was a follow up project to a color study project in my 2D art class.
At this point in time, this was my third time painting and I wanted to create (or recreate) this image to study different techniques involved with acrylic painting. The high contrast in the colors made it difficult to muddle any mistakes, challenging me to really focus and paint with intent.
This image took roughly 18 hours for me to complete.
