Presented with the objective of creating a quality artisanal spray paint line for Krylon, I decided to draw upon my connection with Hawai'i to drive the concept. The imagery of everyday Hawai'ian life speaks to locals while the clean design aesthetic appeals to those willing to spend more for quality paint.

Recent budget cuts in the Hawai'i school system have resulted in the eradication of art programs in public schools. The goal of This Side of Paradise is for Krylon to elevate their brand by selling a limited edition line to support a program, POW WOW School of Art, doing their best to replace removed education.
