A watch as a mysterious device, intelligible only for the dedicated. It is designed in such a way to wear as much as possible individual features of the owner. It is a peculiar implementer and a base for experiments.
Movement: «Raketa» 2623.Н with two shockproof devices, specially refined for work with wheels. It has a saved power reserve and increased accuracy (delta about 10 sec./day).
Case: titanium (VT-22). This alloy differs by a particular strength. It is applied in jet engine and rocket production.
Glass: sapphire crystal, can be scratched only by diamond or other sapphire.
Movement
The basic movement («Raketa» 2623.Н) was developed in 1969 by the state order specially for the Soviet polar explorers, submariners, pilots and astronauts. It is characterized by a large margin of safety and reliability.
Before usage in the movement ARwatch is completely disassembled and refined.
After refinement for work with discs (they are much heavier than hands), the movement does not lose power reserve (42 hours). Its accuracy increases till ±10 seconds per day.
Discs
A minute disc is hanged on the pins and is located on the same level around an hour disc. I.e.an hour disc is placed inside of a minute one. Due to this, the sizes of indication symbols on both of discs are equal thus improving readability.
The indication symbols are cut in the discs through and filled with luminous material – luminophore. Bright backlighting of turquoise allows you to read time indication in darkness and in some cases can be used as a torch)).
Case
Titanium VТ-22 is chosen as the material for the case. It is one of the strongest and most complex alloys. It is usually used in engines of jet planes and in space technology. The design of the case gives wide opportunities for decoration including marking with legends or embossed effect around the circumference of the case.
The lugs for the strap fastening are assembled on the case by means of pins and screws, have double curve, that makes them very time intensive in production and have effect on the total cost of the case.
But due to the demountable lugs of the fastening strap, on the main part of the case one can get a very nice surface after finish operation.
Second hand
The only hand of a watch – a second one , changes the color depending on the angle of incidence on it of light rays. From black to burgundy-red. When you have a stony look on the watch, the hand has a flicker effect.
Strap
The watchstrap is combined, made of unpolished skin of stingray and calf (inside part). The carcass of strap is made from titanium.
Basic model
This watch is the basic model on which production technologies were developed. Watch appearance can be transformed in a wide range. The design allows you to make each sample unique and individual. Stamping, notching with other metals and even inlaying with precious stones – all is possible.
