Originally Carlisle Glass and Longhorn Hardware, which was one company under two different names. Both supplying hardware, to tradesmen, DIY enthusiast and handymen. The company boasts to be the UK's largest direct and online suppliers of trade tools accessories and hardware products.

The concept was to create a new brand identity that tided these two companies together, as one brand, renamed Longhorn, The ID itself is a flexible combination of the L and the H of longhorn hardware, which also imprints the mark of a house or a chair, this crafted mark representing the many customers who use Longhorn.
