McGrathiana is a board gaming company that my husband is starting. He has always loved playing and creating board games, so he decided to share his passion with the world. The logo is a griffon head encircled in red (alluding to a lion's mane). The stern glare of the griffon and the bold red gives the brand a corporate feel. Although the design looks more serious than that of other game companies, it represents this brand well, because McGrathiana games mostly concern war or strategy. These games are often hex-based, which is why I added a hexagon texture as a watermark on the stationery set.
