Brand Nursery commisioned me in early February to create a logo for their client
BLOOM | SPECIALTY COFFEE
...
as is often the case, after the first few drafts the project brief changed, but, by working together with the client we were able to find a visual representation of what he felt sould represent BLOOM.
The following are the final results as well as some of the steps leading there.

Inverted logo, over mood image.
Final version. A mix of rough edges (inspiring broken glass), classic curves, technical elements and a general feeling that makes you think of bamboo and Borneo.
This is a one color logo, mainly to be used over light backgrounds, though the creative use of it's inverted variant is not in any way discouraged.
1 color over white/black.
Spacing and size. preview.
a so-so attempt... kinda liked the flower and the font... the two together though...
and the very generic approach, when i got bored...
