Corso di Francia is Vigna Clara’s main street and it connects viale M. Pilsudski with the confluence of the via Flaminia Nuova in Roma, Parioli and Tor di Quinto districts. The Parioli district is among the top fifteen arose in Rome in 1911 and officially established in 1921. District was completed during the fifties.
The bridge is designed to connect two areas close to Corso di Francia Hill: Fleming and Vigna Clara district, located on two opposite hills and it will be promenade and cycling.
To develop the concept the main issue was  put it in keeping with its surroundings and to draw a bridge in which structure and design be present at the same time.
The relationship between the fields of the structure with that of architecture is essential.  There are many definitions, dates during the various periods of history about the concept and structure of the architecture.
Here, it is certainly appropriate to emphasize the link between the idea of structure-architecture and the concept of space.
The bridge is designed to be permeable and transparent to the urban environment, without compromising the protection of the district: a curvilinear body that grows along the axis of the main north-south and open to light penetration.
Over time the shape has been strongly linked to knowledge of materials and construction techniques above; but, now all that was once defined and constituted a constraint has now become a skill, a chance. The strength of this potential is expressed in the architectural plastic that seem to defy the laws of physics, statics and construction technique: a language of lightness, transparency and technology.
In concept of this bridge it shows the will to find a design that highlights the desire to create a unique conceptual ties with the main structure: a structure that is not ancillary and coincides with the architectural form, creating a whole between the architectural gesture and structural design.
Now more than ever, the architecture is constrained only by itself, by the taste and culture of the places where it is made. Here the task of the expression is assigned to the property.
A fundamental aspect of the necessary qualifying and contemporary design is sustainability. Concept that involves, in an ever more radical, all aspects of environmental, economic and social aspects of society. It seems that it is no longer sufficient to design and create buildings that are only technically and formally extraordinary: it is necessary to think in an environmentally friendly manner, combining technological progress a particular environmental sensitivity: the bridge will be build with 80% from steel from recycled material (and enables significant energy savings).
At the same time the construction of the bridge will be carry on another project that involves the construction of a series of workshops and shops dedicated to the activities of crafts (currently in difficulty and suffering in our city) that overlook Corso di Francia.
