Nepal Fair Trade Project
During the summer of 2011 I spent ten weeks in Kathmandu, Nepal participating in a product design internship with the Association for Craft Producers, a fair trade non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of local artisans. I collaborated with the ACP design team to develop new products that preserved traditional Nepali craft while appealing to a wider global market in order to increase the international success of the fair trade movement.
