LUNAR ERUPTION
Design Principles II
Spring Semester 2015
For this project, we were prompted to create a lamp out of bristol board. The design of the lamp was meant to derive from a series of studies aiming at the understanding of the material, its qualities and limits. An important consideration was its interaction with light. After folding, cutting, scoring, twisting, wetting and shredding the bristol board, I concluded at combining two of my discoveries to my final design: the honeycomb structure and the paper pulp sphere.
