The goal of this project was to re-design a restaurant's take-out packaging. I re-designed Billy Vanilly's cupcake take out box. The design includes re-usuable or recyclable materials to reduce waste.  The swirl pattern was cut out of the sides and etched on the top of the boxes with a laser cutter. The intent for the design was that the delicious cupcake could be seen through the cut outs. As the box opens, it beautifully displays the cupcake for eating. The corners of the box extend into the inside to stabilize the cupcake for traveling purposes. Once the cupcake is eaten, the box can be re-used as a gift box or for display.
