"The Theft Of The Mona Lisa" is one of several VFX sequences created by the team at reactiv for the feature film ART OF THE STEAL, an art heist comedy, starring Jay Baruchel, Kurt Russell, Matt Dillon, Katheryn Winnick, and Terrence Stamp. The entire sequence was shot in studio on green-screen. Stock photos, CG elements, and various stills of props taken on set were then used to create the very stylized, silent-film era Paris of 1911.
