This animation just started off as a warm up painting I did in the morning. I really wanted to start using Adobe After Effects in my work more, so I just took all the elements I had painted and created this little animation.

An animatic I created for an ending sequence of a short animation about a boy on halloween and his friend ghost who uses a carved pumpkin as a costume.
A rotoscoped animation. Studying the way cloth moves and how gravity affects the form.
The character in this animation was traditionally animated frame by frame using Photoshop (tedious, but fun). The rest was finished out in After Effects.
