MAXMIX.
이 프로젝트는 앞으로 3~4년후의 미래의 타블렛 환경에 대한 이야기이다. ( 2010년 당시)
앞으로 타블렛 시장은 지속적으로 발전할 것이며 모바일 시장과는
다르게 성장할 것으로 판단된다.
우리는 미래의 환경에 맞는 사용성을 연구했으며,
보여지는 화면에 대한 디자인을 진행하였다.
넓은 화면을 어떻게 하면 효과적으로 쓸 수 있을지에 대한 고민과
어울리는 GUI를 적용하는데에 많은 고민을 하였다.
기존에 유행하고 있던 스타일과는 차별화된 심플한 구성의 디자인을 최대한 살리고,
리얼한 오브젝트 보다는 평면적인 이미지를 활용하려고 노력하였다.
SNS와 내가 가진 어플리케이션, 그리고 추천되는 컨텐츠들.
여러 가지 정보를 한 화면에서 표현하는 것이 가장 어렵고 의미있는 디자인 작업이였다.
추천에 대한 정의는 아직까지 모두의 숙제라고 생각한다.
위치기반을 이용하여 추천을 하거나 사용자를 자동으로 인지하여 관련 컨텐츠를 추천하거나.
많은 기술기반의 연구가 진행중이며 그 기술과 함께 보여지는 UI도 함께 설계되고 있다.
이런 사용성에 대한 연구는 현재도 계속 되고 있으며,
내가 지금 원하는 정보를 좀더 쉽게 접근 할 수 있도록 만들어 주는 서비스들은 지속적으로 테스트 되고 있다.
모든 상황을 인지하여 지금 필요한 정보를 찾아주는 것은 현재도 구현되어 있으며 정확도는 지속적으로
업그레이드 될 것이다. 우리는 그런 기술를 활용하여 보다 편리한 사용성을 만들기 위해 연구한다.
위의 디자인은 처음 컨셉을 도출하기 위한 첫번째 프로토타입이며
이 후 진행과정은 차츰 공개할 예정이다.

This project is about future tablet interface in 3-4 years.( In 2010 )
The market of tablet will grow consistently and it will be different with mobile market.
We studied usability for future environment,
and designed graphic interface for the screen.
We especially considered how users can use a wide
screen effectively
and applying it with appropriate GUI.
Interface is designed with a simple structure using
flat images rather than real objects
to differentiate with existing design style.
It was the hardest but meaningful work to express all information
such as SNS, my applications, and recommended contents into one screen.
Defining recommendation is still everybody’s challenge today.
Many studies based on technologies to recommend related contents
using position-based or automatic identification still progresses,
and also UI is being designed with the technologies.
This kind of study is constantly being developed,
and services that make users find information easily are being tested also.
The accuracy for finding exact information will be upgraded in future.
We study and design for the convenient usability by using the technologies.
This is the first prototype of it to make initial concept,
and more processes will be opened soon.
