Dole are the world's largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables. As part of a campaign to promote healthy eating, they produced a free kids' recipe book that covered everything from snacks to full meals. The aim was to encourge children to eat their "5-a-day", increase their awareness of nutrition and involve them in cooking.
The recipes are all simple and fun, from snacks to full meals, and the imagery had to reflect that. The paper illustrations were used as cutouts, banners, single and double page spreads, working in and around the text and food photography.
