Music and design are close-knit on a certain level,
which is led by a great chemistry and constant dialogues between the two:
Designers always indulge themselves in music to stimulate senses and creativity;
while they appreciate the album cover art or the packaging design at the same time,
to express the style of the music and the indefinable ambiance.

音樂和設計在某種層面上是相通的，有默契且能彼此對話:

設計師時常會進入音樂維度的世界，將思維與靈感催生；

Virgilio Tzaj is a Phoenix-bred, Brooklyn-based Art Director & Designer
dedicated to creating strong visuals and leaving a positive impact. He is
currently an art director at Atlantic Records, working with such artists as
Alt-J, The Orwells, Fun. and Paramore.

Virgilio Tzaj是一名藝術總監及設計師，他出生於美國菲爾克斯，
現居住在紐約市布魯克林區。他致力於創作出強烈的視覺影像來給
予受眾積極的影響。他目前是大西洋唱片的藝術總監，與Alt-J，
Orwells，Fun. 和Paramore（帕拉摩爾）等藝術家及樂隊都有所合作。

Born in Hangzhou, China, Hong Zhang is a multi-disciplinary designer

currently working and living in New York City. She holds a BA of Applied

Arts and Design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and recently

graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with an MFA of Design

Visual Communications. Zhang works with both print and digital media, in forms of books, catalogues, posters, websites, videos and etc. Her works

have been featured onFicciones Typografika,and exhibited in NEO New

York (group show) at 41 Cooper Gallery.

張弘，生於中國杭州，現居美國紐約。曾就讀上海交通大學藝術設計專業，

近期畢業于佛吉尼亞聯邦大學視覺傳達碩士。她的創作媒介包含印刷及數位

媒體，形式則有書籍、海報、網站、視頻等。作品曾於Ficciones Typografika、

NEO New York（群展）刊登與展出。

Daniel Reed, a young and ambitious UK designer who has a strong

passion for typography, printmaking and music. He likes to combine

his skills in music and design to create interesting projects which

challenge our perceptions of sound and imagery. He is a keen pianist

and regularly creates his own loops and samples. His musical background

heavily influences his designs, as he often uses precise numbers and

ratios to form layout structures and type size decisions.

丹尼爾·里德，對字體設計、印刷設計以及音樂創作方面具有濃厚興
趣的年輕英國設計師。他喜歡將音樂和設計領域里的技巧相融合，從
而來完成一些打破聲音以及想象力界限的有趣項目。他十分熱衷於彈
鋼琴，并不時創作出自己的旋律。他的音樂背景對他的設計有著深遠
的影響，例如他會採用精確的數據以及比例來斟酌作品排版的結構，
并決定字號的大小。
