    TruthGirl is a startup that will be launching into the cosmetics market with a new, positive self-image message for girls in an industry commonly known for shallow definitions of beauty. This project came with an existing brand, that needed some slight refinement and focus to be implemented into a new web presence. The site build has two user goals: extending the message, and e-commerce. After working with the client to narrow the mission of the site, we made the message the primary focus and built an Information Architecture reflecting that. Client requested an aesthetic that was somewhat feminine but not girly, clean, and modern. The palette was developed to reflect the strengths of the existing brand. The photography is intended to represent different aspects of women's lives, not just their appearance, and push the site toward a lifestyle blog more than a cosmetics store. The site has not yet been deployed by the client at this time. Read Less
