Le Vie del Cinema is a Film Festival held every year in the town of Terni, in central Italy.
My task was creating two co-ordinated posters: one for the festival in general and the other for special screenings of 8mm film movies.
For the final project of my B.A. my supervisor had the idea of organising a contest among students graduating on that year. My posters were used to advertise the event in 2009.
I wanted to create an engaging image using one of the most important features in acting: facial mimics.
We then organised a photoshooting session asking the models to make several facial expressions. The result was a funny, colourful and witty poster that draws the attention by stimulating curiosity in the viewer.
