DAVIDsTEA is a Canadian tea store with a friendly/modern environment. The store opened in 2008, on vibrant Queen Street in Toronto, Canada. Customers soon became regulars, neighbours became friends, and the store became a community fixture.
As the fairly new brand begins to see an increase of sales, customers, and engagement, they need to begin reaching their audience where they go. With a high increase of mobile engagement within their target audience, DAVIDsTEA should develop a mobile app becoming apart of the customer’s everyday.

Ease of use
The challenge was to allow for easy navigation of all the product/service options, inform our users, shop and purchase our products, and categorize favourite purchases.
Mobile
Customers were in need for a DAVIDsTEA app to be used in making purchases wherever they were and rewarding them for being loyal brand users. The app would need to quickly let a user find the closest store to them, browse products, make purchases, and use location-based for individually targeted messages/promotions.
Increase Conversions
Customers enjoy the experience of purchasing and drinking their teas in-store. In order to increase conversions of using your mobile app to shop our teas and make purchases, browsing the app needed to feel like you were browsing in a store.
