Sensory deprivation tanks are tanning bed-sized tanks filled halfway with water and over 800 pounds of Epsom salt. When you lay in the tank, you can float effortlessly. There's no sound and it's pitch black. Your senses are essentially stripped from your brain and the results are astounding. To some, this might sound nerve-wracking. The challenge here was to make this truly unique business accessible and exciting.


Solution

By creating a positioning strategy around relaxation, we were able to divert attention away from the intimidation one may face when stepping into the tank for the first time. With a price point comparable to a massage, floating is an alternative way to experience something completely unique and far more relaxing than a massage.
